This is a hard book for me to rate because there were aspects I really really liked and other parts that were so infuriating I almost stopped reading it. I’d probably put it closer to a 3.5 but since that’s not an option, 4 it is.
Wow. This book blew my MIND. I could NOT figure out who did what, and by the time I got to the end (at about 1:00 in the morning...when I had to be at work at 7:30 am. I couldn't put it down!) I actually set the book down for a minute and said "Whoa." Really fabulous book if you like mystery/thrillers!!!!
A real page turner for sure. I stayed up waaaaay past my bedtime to finish this. A pretty quick read too, I was done in two days. Very entertaining, good twists and turns and some lols as well.

Quincy refuses to be a Final Girl, leaving behind that cabin in the woods where a serial killer hunted down all of her friends, and moving on to have a successful baking blog and a golden retriever of a husband. That all changes when Lisa, another final girl, is found dead by suicide.
Read if the copaganda actually blinded you to the truth.

4.5 stars. This was my fourth book by Riley Sager and second favorite so far (after The Last Time I Lied). It was a little bit slow in the beginning because there was quite a lot to set up, and I had no idea sometimes where it was heading, but as usual with his books it came together quite well in the end.

Started out very strong but I couldn’t wait for it to be over by the halfway point. I’m so used to female thriller authors that some of the descriptions here caught me off guard tbh.
This book was “unputdownable!” I read it late into the night (and have the hangover to prove it). I read it in the bathroom. I read it when I should have been doing ANYthing else. Quincy Carpenter, a Final Girl who survived a massacre of her friends in the woods, makes every attempt at normalcy. But her world is turned upside down when one of the two other Final Girl survivors turns up dead, and the other shows up on her doorstep.
