this scratched my itch for Twilight so hard! not like other girls sees ghosts and has a band of hot smart funny guys that follow her around and protect her. the only reason it isn't 5 stars is bc of the bullying and fatphobia. I get it as a plot point but it's really not my vibe.

This is the best book I have ever read!

It's a beautiful, lighthearted coming-of-age story with a touch of paranormal to it. I expect this series to get even better throughout the next books.

Onto book two!

This is very much a found family book and it was great I just wasn't in a found-family mood. The plot was also a little slow for me but perhaps I've just read a lot more faster paced books as of late.

I read this book during the pandemic, one of the first series of books I read after starting my reading journey. I had no idea what RH or Why Choose was (so imagine my confusion)

I don’t remember much of it now, if I’m being honest, I only just recently remembered that I read these books.

I think at the start I was like… hey who ripped off the vampire diaries? And then later I just didn’t care because, for me, this story was more up my alley in a strange way.
I loved the characters, although they were at times very cringey and had barely any distinction from each other. I was also intrigued with the plot.
I’m not gonna do a review for each book, just the first and last, so this one will be a bit about the series in general:

There’s a decent mystery unfolding. A plot that is actually compelling. Each book brings you closer to the conclusion, but also closer to the characters. I felt that, as far as unnecessary drama goes, this book had very little of it. The drama was almost always necessary and I appreciated not having to suffer through a bunch of scenes that add nothing interesting to the story.

For the most part, the series was okay. It reads a little like Wattpad but, honestly, that’s just never really been a huge issue for me personally.

All in all, I’d say it’s a good series to read for fun and not to take too seriously. But I will say, it’s a 9 book series and the last book is the worst soooo you decide whether you wanna make that financial decision—once again, just my opinion as someone who DID make that financial decision.

Do I regret it… nah
Would I do it again? Absolutely not.

4 stars because it was the start of the series and it did grip me immediately. I couldn’t put any of them down, no matter how cringey or frustrating.

Soo, if you are looking for a romance...this is definitely NOT your book. Otherwise, the plot is good, and its eye catching

Let me be clear. The 4 stars in my rating exist only because I first readthe book a few years ago and loved it then.

I love the whole idea, being able to see and communicate with the dead is cool. But I don't like the reverce hamer.
Also, 7 books? The story is basically repeating itself over and over again.

i kinda liked this one ngl. they ghost stuff felt kinda like realism in the beginning. Lexie is kinda funny and i like how she could keep a convo going, i also was interested throughout the ENTIRE book. I like the guys too, they were a nice group and i could distinguish them from each other for the most part. I loveddd how dramatic it was sometimes too. Overall i enjoyed myself
