The book has another title in the U.S. - great book about history and the slavery back in the 1800's. I didn't know what to expect from this one, but I really enjoyed it. It takes place before Africa was actually called Africa and how the africans would get bought and shipped over seas. It is a "heavier" read, so if your looking for light fluff, don't pick this one up.

This book was extremely well written, meticulously researched, and vividly detailed, but, unfortunately, did not live up to the hype for me. Which is why it took me almost 2 months to finish.
