It is a good book that brings you back to the world of Alagaësia, though it is short I hope there is more. I hope to see more development on the individual characters.

I am bound by nostalgia to read anything Christopher Paolini writes, unfortunately. None of these stories were particularly interesting. The first one featured my favorite character of the whole series and I wish he didn't appear at all. The second one featured my least favorite characters of the whole series and I wish it weren't written. The third featured new characters and basically nothing I cared about at all.
Inheritance ended on a high note, with hints that Queen Nasuada would herself become an autocrat and introduce modern capitalism to Alagaesia. Unfortunately the single digit number of times she was mentioned were the best part of these stories, which nostalgia compelled me to read.

A very welcome return to Alagaësia. I wish it was a full length novel, but the nostalgia gives it 3/5 stars. I’m going to go reread Eragon.
One story is a repeat from Murtaugh and I think the rest is unnecessary
