Mayhem!!!

This book was everything i wanted!

The silent boy had a lot to say and i love every single word!

This was a perfect ending for a perfect series and no not everything was hearts and flowers but it had to happen. when i read the first word in the prologue i was nervous, i didnt understand "what are you doing Jay??" But Jay knew what she was doing and it was heartbreakingly beautiful!

We had closure, we had new beginnings, we had tears and we had so many laughs and smiles.

Thank you Jay Mclean.

I couldn't wait to post my review, so here we go.....

SUJEBGWEJSBVKJSABGOUVHW. This is my thoughts on More Than Enough by the amazing and super talented Jay McLean. She is without a doubt my favorite author, not only because she can write, but also because she can evoke so much emotion in her novels. She can make you laugh until you think you’re going to piss your pants and then by the next page you have tears streaming down your face because she’s just stabbed you in the heart with all the feels. She takes the genre of new adult to a whole other level. She doesn’t make it just about the sex. She makes it about the love, the heart and the journey to happiness. Now, when I went into MTE, I was expecting/hoping it was going to go one way. I’m not going to tell you who the love interest is. Just know that she is a girl (She could be Heidi or she could not be Heidi you’ll just have to read to find out!) who has her demons and it’s about a boy who has his own demons. It’s about how they come together and see each other in a new way. MTE is about finding out if these two characters are enough for each other, if they are enough for their families, and if they can find inner peace and happiness within themselves. It’s a truly beautiful story that even if it doesn’t start out the way you want it to is still so worth the read. I would strongly suggest reading the series in order. This is not only because the series is freaking fantastic and so amazing, but also because there are times when characters are reintroduced and you may be confused of who they are. There are also times when the events in previous books are mentioned in passing and it would be easier to follow along if you’ve read the other books.

I have forever been on #TeamCam ever since reading More Than Forever. I have reread that book the most out of the entire series. He’s just always kind of been my dream guy, but after getting to know Dylan Banks, I am officially kicking Cameron to the curb and am riding on the #TeamDylan train. He is so swoon-worthy and funny and sweet and just the cutest More Man ever!!!

I can’t really tell you much more about this amazing book without giving too much away. If you’re an avid JayMac fan and are hoping for this story to turn out a certain way, then my only advice for you is to go into it with an open mind. Don’t hate Jay for not writing the story that YOU wanted because her books aren’t about what YOU want. She wrote the story she NEEDED to write. She had a certain path that she wanted Dylan and Heidi to go on and you can’t change destiny. Even in fictional books. And in my opinion, it’s fucking phenomenal, and one of her best yet!!

I guess you guys may want a little snippet of who Dylan Banks & The Mystery Girl are, so here you go! These are a few of my favorite moments in More Than Enough by Jay McLean…

“…Even though I feel stuck there, in the middle of a war zone, trapped in the mayhem of my mind, and feeling like time isn’t moving at all—you had me wanting more. You had me wanting you. You had me checking the time…”

“I watched the rise and fall of her chest caused by her uneven breaths… and I watched her. Just her. And I tried to reason with myself as to why it made me so damn happy that she showed up at my door. I guess, if you take away my pride, I really just wanted her. How ever she’d have me.”

“Through tears, through heartache, and through love, I find courage in my self-worth. “I’ll be okay,” I tell him honestly. “And there never has to be an either/or with us, Dylan. You can live your purpose. And I’ll create my legacy. We can still have each other. We can have it all.”

If I told you to jump, would you ask how high? Or would you just jump? If there were no reason behind it, would you still take the leap? What if I told you that at the end, there would be nothing? What if you made a splash on the world and lived in an eternal state of floating? Would you make waves? What if you couldn’t float? What if air lost the battle, and you lost the war? Would you want to know what was on the other side? Would you care? Or would you just jump… because I was the one who asked you?

It's been awhile since I've read this series. I hesitated on this book thinking that the heroine was a character I didn't particularly liked. Luckily, it wasn't who I thought it was - she was WAY better. Dylan, Dylan, Dylan. Man, those silent types do something to me. Swoon.

I forgot how much these books makes me FEEL. This author is so good at balancing all the feels with the laughs. The gang is all back and I loved all the mayhem. It's a great way to end this series. It makes me want to re-read the entire series. LOVED this book and this series. HARD.
