Audio book which was really well read. A thriller with lots of twists and turns. Really enjoyed
This was a very well-written psychological thriller. It gripped me from the start, was suspenseful and had plenty of twists that kept me guessing. Excited to check out other works by Lauren North. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC copy.
A nice red herring. Interesting plot. I guessed the twist earlier than the reveal, due to well placed clues. Will definitely check out more from this author. Listened to this audio in 24 hours.

I was gripped throughout this book. Really well written and a very good story that almost felt real.
OK, actually, 4.5*. This was the second book that I've read by Lauren North and, like the first, I read it at a breakneck speed. Almost fourteen years ago, the Wick family undergoes a nightmare when their daughter, Abigail vanishes from the garden of their holiday home. Based on some early leads, the presumption is that she was kidnapped. But by whom? Why? And what happened to her? Even after this long, this frayed family appears to have, for the most part, held together. (These are not real spoilers as this all happens in the first couple of chapters.)
One day, a young woman enters a London police station and claims to be Abigail Wick. Where has she come from? Is she really Abigail? And what happened during the last fourteen years?
This is the underlying premise of "She Says She's My Daughter," a tight psychological thriller that will have you saying "just one more chapter" when you should be asleep...
My 1/2 star deduction is because I thought parts were a bit gratingly repetitive. But otherwise, I love a page-turner like this with unreliable narrators.
Would definitely recommend.
