The back and forth had me hooked! I kept thinking I knew what was going on and boy was I wrong. I flew through this book so fast as I couldn't put it down. I wanted to know more. I wanted answers as if I was going through this in my life. In the end who I thought was behind everything was not who I assumed it was. This was a great book and I look forward to more from this author!

A mother's intuition, a family with heartbreaking unanswered question. This appealed to me and it didn't dissapoint.

The characters were believable and realistic - I didn't see the twist at all and not sure how I felt about the final twist- it pulled the rug out from under me and left me feeling unsettled, but great writing.

Couldn't put this down after the third chapter, definitely recommend it.

I was all set to give this book 5 stars. It is an interesting plot and a gripping read. I was quickly anxious to find out the mystery behind this girl claiming to be a family’s missing daughter/sister. And the reveal, while a tiny bit over the top, made it even more interesting. It was a surprise to me. The reason I gave it 3 stars is due to the ending. It almost ruined the whole book, and it irritates me to no end. So many authors feel the need to add that one last paragraph thinking it adds suspense. It doesn’t! Too many authors do it and just ruins the story. Thanks to Net Galley for this ARC.

Lauren North returns with another cracking story. That grabbed me from the first page and never let go. As the Wick family on holiday on the East Coast of England are rocked to their core when their four-year-old daughter Abi wanders off and is never seen again.

That is until nearly fourteen years later a seventeen year old girl walks into a London police station and claims to be the missing Abigail Wick.

But is she?

And what really happened fourteen years ago?

And more importantly if this is really Abigail where has she been?

And as the story unfolds all of these questions and more are answered and once again Lauren takes you on a roller coaster journey. That has you questioning EVERYTHING and believing NOTHING!! And I loved every minute of it and seriously I couldn't turn the pages fast enough.

And with fantastic pacing, sooo many twists, shocks and surprises. This is another superb read and I would recommend this story and author to all and if you're yet to read any Lauren North novels what are you waiting for??

My thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for the opportunity to read an copy of She Says She's My Daughter. 😊

She Says She’s My Daughter is another nail biting and unputdownable read by one of my favourite authors Lauren North.  From the very beginning this book pulled me right in and I just didn’t want to stop reading until I reached the very last chapter.  Lauren North has a fabulous way of writing her thrillers and honestly once you read one you’ll be completely hooked .   I admittedly found this one a little bit slow to start but realistically I think that was just me as I was so anxious to find out what was going on and who were the characters I could trust, if any ?   Told mainly from the points of view of Sarah , the Mother of missing Abigail and of Abigail, I loved reading from  both their perspectives.   A tense and gripping read with an ending that left me lost for words.   I loved it.   4⭐️
