*3.5 - interesting autobiography but got bored in the middle when the author veered away from his own story onto junk bonds

i’ve been listening to 1996 this american life episodes at bedtime recently and  enjoying his campaign diaries segments. i wanted to listen to that whole audiobook but libby only had this. he’s a good narrator, the book was just interesting enough to entertain me while i was awake but not nearly interesting enough for me to care about and not fall asleep. recommend as bedtime white noise and not much else lol

Maybe a bit complicated in parts for me but amusing and informative

Such a fun memoir of Lewis’ tenure as a bond salesman at Salomon Brothers in the late 1980s; chaotic, rowdy, somewhat educational, and, at times, very funny.

Very readable book. Recounting of the 80s market growth and death from a Soloman Brother's trader, but with lots of attitude and interesting tid bits thrown in. Written for a financial outsider, so it's a good book to start on.
