This was good, some essays I enjoyed more than others but I felt like in most cases I could connect to what Sophia was saying or explaining through her writing. I laughed a lot and had a few ah-ha moments, which is nice for a memoir. I also like that she narrated her own audiobook, it really personalizes her story and message to hear everything from her.

Part 1 was interesting, Part 2 my attention started to drop and by Part 3 I was finding it reading more and more like a journal and couldn't go on. This truly is exhausting.

I enjoyed this so much, I'm buying it in print immediately so I can highlight and flag sections that resonated with me. "Well, This is Exhausting," is a poignant, exhaustive (ha) analysis of modern womanhood. Every woman in their late 20s or early 30s will find something in here that feels so real you have to put the book down and do a lap around your house while thinking about it.

I had no idea who Sophia Benoit was, but she's hilarious. Incredibly honest, even when it's raunchy. It feels like talking to your female friends at points. A good mix of things I identified with immensely and things that I found enjoyable even if I couldn't relate. Anyone who has fallen victim to the "chill girl" pressure should read.
