I am glad Debbie brought back Cedar Cove.

This book is what you would expect from Debbie Macomber. I liked it. I read her books when I want to feel like all is right with the world. And a definite happy ending.

This book is a new series set in Cedar Cove about a B&B. New characters with the old characters popping up here and there.

Quick, easy, enjoyable read.

I enjoyed this story very much. It was a great, light read.

This is a wonderful book that is so detailed you can imagine being at the Inn yourself. Definitely a book that leaves you feeling good when you finish it.

I enjoyed this book, but it was far from my favorite Debbie Macomber. The ending was predictable, but that isn’t always a negative thing especially in a relaxing story to escape for a bit. The interesting part is in the journey to get there. I enjoyed the way Cedar Cove characters were woven into the stories. I like Jo Marie and want to know more about Mark; they will be developed more in future books, I’m sure. What held me back were the guests at the inn whose stories are 2/3 of the book. I struggled to relate to and care very much about them or their dark stories. I felt like Abby’s journey worked and I can see where she is headed, but despite the predictable ending, I don’t feel like there was real closure on Josh’s issues and story- and I don’t feel like I know what his future holds. I think my lack of investment in the characters is why this was just a 3 for me. I will read the next one to see where it goes, but I am not waiting with bated breath.

This book was really about healing from tragedy and moving on with life. It was a good clean read. Not too complex, and it left me feeling good. The only thing that bothered me a little about the story was that so many people saw or talked to dead people, (not in a creepy way though.) My one complaint with the book on tape is that the readers attempt to do male voices was a little annoying. All of the men ended up sounded dim witted and slow, and always on the verge of growling at you. The plot was simple, but moving. I would definitely read another book by this author.
