Rhetoric and how it can and should be used? Is it tied to real knowledge of good and evil and can it therefore make people better? Becomes a discussion of the best way to live and whether it is better to do wrong or be wronged. Socrates argues that it is better to be wronged. He argues that the philosophical life is the best because it only improves the conditions of your and others' souls, which then ensures a prime spot in the afterlife.
