The middle spread, with the text, "And crossed a sea of moon jellies dancing." is hands-down one of the most gorgeous illustrations I have ever seen. Ever. I got tears in my eyes when I turned the page and saw it.

Good for sharing with a child who appreciate contemplating pictures and or abstract thoughts, is grieving the death of a grandparent, or really, really likes sea creatures and/or boats. So freakin' gorgeous.

This is probably the most aesthetically pleasing book I have ever had the pleasure of looking through, but that aside, the story is touching and illustrations are gorgeous and I can't wait to find an excuse to buy this book.

The illustrations in this book are gorgeous.

This is my favourite Fan Brothers book so far. Beautiful story and beautiful images. Just Wow!

This was a nice book with some great drawings and a nice story about a boy who was reminiscing about his late grandfather. My seven-year-old daughter did not enjoy reading this one as much.

Ocean Meets Sky is a beautiful picture book. While the story may not be the focus, I actually remember none of the dialog, the pictures are amazing. For this reason alone I rated it what it is. The words do complement the pictures, and do provide a plot. It is just that the beauty of the book is really in the illustrations. I loved the play of colors and the imagination in each picture.
