Very interesting read, this book does reveal a completely new aspect to the outside world. As the book reveals many many clues and ways to find them, it will be difficult to implement them all. I was only saddened that the book is mainly for UK residents and uses mostly common names for species. I would have liked Latin names along side them to make it just a bit easier to use.

Interesting in places but mainly droll and boring. Not much more to say.

Not my default read. Simultaneously incredibly interesting and incredibly dull. I learnt more about outdoor clues and signs from this book than I think I'd ever known. But also, I reckon I'll have forgotten all of it soon, on account of not being a walker

The Natural Navigator is a story about the art of natural navigation without offering much in terms of practical advice or how-tos. While I thoroughly enjoyed some chapters, such as "Creatures of habit," and wrote down a few basic tips here and there, the book was not what I expected, nor is that useful in the field.
