I thought it was cute and tied the story up at the end. It was interesting to finally see the end results that have been hinted towards the past 6 books. I really enjoyed the characters and hearing about how their lives were going to move forward.

This series reminds me of the earlier Harry Potter books and Discworld. It's magical and funny with some great characters and some terrible evils. It's a kids' book that isn't dumbed down so parents can read along with their kids, and pick up on some of the knowing asides and some of the underlying motivations. Really great. I loved the series and each book is better than the previous one.
With Fyre a long journey that started years and years ago finally ends. It saddens me that it came to an end but I enjoyed it so much. I can't wait to get my hands on the other series that are connected to this series.
All of the characters here are like old friends. I want to read more about Septimus and Marcia and Bettlee and Rose. Surely a series I will read again and again and again.
I think this was a really long book with great suspense. We had to say goodbye to certain characters and quite some bonds were developed. But for me there was this little scene that really touched me. It's when Marcia calls Septimus her child. It was so heartwarming.

Finishing the final book of a series that you've grown up with and loved all your life is nothing short of emotional. It's like saying goodbye to an old friend. Angie's writing always teleport me to her vivid magykal world. Her characters, good, bad, and excruciatingly annoying, will always have a place in my heart. I'm trying to get myself to her latest book in the Toddhunter series, but I just don't want the magyk to end!
