I don’t know how many more times I can say that I love this series, but I love this series. The narration continues to be top notch, and I love being back in this world. If you haven’t read this series…highly recommend. I mean, what more do you need…
-a fairy tale retelling
-a world in chaos
-space!
-strong female characters that don’t make you roll your eyes at everything they do
-male characters with flaws
-stories that continue to intertwine with one another, creating this entire plot.

Absolutely love it.

I feel like this is a rare occurrence, but this series just keeps getting better! The story got more exciting, more complicated, and the added characters were a delight. I loved how the Rapunzel-inspired storyline was woven through this one. Cress herself was a joy – fanciful and sweet. And her storyline with Carswell Thorne was just adorable. There were unexpected twists and turns in the storyline, and even the parts I did expect had such a build-up to the moment that it just felt so good to see it happen.

This is definitely my favorite book so far in the series. I loved the intricate storyline and how the stakes just keep getting higher.

I’m ready to plunge into Winter (the final book in the series) which I have heard a lot of positive things about. We catch a brief glimpse at Princess Winter in Cress, and she sounds to be quite a character, so I am really interested to see how this all plays out.

“You said yourself that the people of Luna need a revolutionary.” She lifted her chin, holding his gaze. “So I’m going to Luna, and I’m going to start a revolution.”
