Cute romance, but it was so predictable and trope-y that not a single thing was a surprise

I’m so glad she decided to get her head out of her ass and tell her dad off. Amen girl!

This was the last Abby Jimenez book I needed to read before I offically have done them all. I was avoiding it because I didn’t think I’d like the age gap situation, but as I read it didn’t bother me at all. I liked this book and liked learning about Wakan. I read this series backwards on accident so it was cool to see how several characters are intertwined throughout all three books. It feels very full circle with Just For the Summer as the finale.
Given Alexis is past her mid thirties, I did get frustrated with her for being so complicit in some ways, mainly in letting her dad talk to her how he does (he calls her young lady several times which should have stopped at like age 20 imo). I am glad she had a large character development and learned she needed to live life for herself and not anyone else. Although she kinda got best of both worlds in the end. Prob my third favorite Abby Jimenez book after Just for the Summer and Yours Truly! Great series all around

Abby Jimenez does it again! She is the only romance author I have no notes for. I devoured Part of Your World and loved how two seemingly polar opposite people get drawn together. Easy to read, no cringe-worthy dialogue- just real, raw, and authentic plotting. I loved Alexis’s character arc and don’t even get me started on our golden retriever, Daniel!! I am such a fan of Jimenez!
