It just felt like I was reading the first book again and honestly I am okay with it.
Some down falls to me were: I really really wished that the whole “loving is a risk, a weakness” was something that Luca really evolved from, you know? The author could have taking advantage of the fact that she presented his perspective to develop this fragile masculinity thing and how he realizes that it doesn’t make him a “lesser man/capo” because of it. It was quite funny (?) how he had these sweet and caring thoughts towards Aria and he opened his mouth and said everything wrong to her— the communication skills made me mad and he didn’t even recognized it! Aria just seemed so boring in his perspective I don’t know…
