It’s Jude’s job to supply the rich and famous with what they need, it’s easy for him and he is very successful at it. But when he meets Rachel on the side of the road he is faced with a challenge like he’s never known.
Rachel is a strong, talented makeup artist trying to make it in Hollywood, and she’s having a bad day, make that a bad week. Her car breaks down on the freeway and suddenly she’s rescued by a hunk in an Escalade, and he just wants to help.
This is a wonderful story about 2 people who are perfect for each other, Jude knows Rachel is the one, and does what he thinks is best to show her. With all stories like this, communication would have saved a lot of drama, but it would make for such a short story

This was my fifth Cocky Hero Club book and my first by this author. I never wanted to put this book down.
Jude is rich and powerful. He makes his money getting hard to find things for the rich and famous. He meets Rachel when her car dies on the side of the road. She needs his help but she's not a damsel in distress, she's a strong girl. She's a tough one for him to win over.
I received an advance copy of this book. I am voluntarily giving my honest review, and I plan to buy this book when it becomes available.

Dirty Dealer by Kacey Shea is a contemporary romance in the cocky hero club World.
Jude, billionaire playboy wanting to settle down plus Rachel, stubbornly independent and talented make up artist equals a denied attraction and sexual tension to make you sweat.
I loved these two. They were great characters apart and together they were the perfect mix of banter, attraction and stubbornness.
Fans of Kacey's other books will also see some familiar characters of hers throughout this and the crossover was seamless.
Such a great addition to the CHC.

I enjoyed this read. This is a first read for me by this author
This is a fun, sweet, and sexy one. This one is full of quick wit and amazing banter, and swoon worthy chemistry that will keep your attention. I love the relationship Jude and Rachel are developing, they had the chemistry but they didn't act on it instantly. Instead they develop their friendship and work into a relationship.
Loved this one! Jude is...I don’t know whether to call him amazing and determined Or sexy and desirable! That suit look!!! H-O-T! Maybe I should go with both!? He is just an amazingly wonderful guy and I can’t say enough how I loved so much about him! His Job is so different! Rachel and her Iron Maiden...that’s what starts this all! I enjoyed her job as well...so different. She has great determination. I love how the relationship between these two develops! She doesn’t want his assistance and he is determined to give it!
Loved the sweet adds of Aubrey and Chance. They are fun and add delight to the story! Also a nod to the 3UG and Cora Bentley crossover. I loved seeing her used like she was in this book.
Overall there are many laugh out loud, sexy and serious moments. I enjoyed them all! But that letter that was written to the advice columnist??? My heart just about melted and goosebumps arrived! I did listen to this on audio. Felicity Munroe and Teddy Hamilton did an outstanding job. I could listen to this over and over!

When Rachel moves from Chicago to LA to rid herself of lying, cheating POS men, she didn't count on her hunk of junk car, Iron Maiden, breaking down on the freeway or Jude stopping to help her. While he was first attracted to her physical appearance, Jude felt the need to help Rae with her car, her job, and her living arrangements. Savior complex much? Admittedly so. Both Jude and Rae had to prove themselves to the people in their lives as well as to themselves. While Jude kept secrets from Rae so he could have a chance with her and keeping them is never a good idea, his reasons were valid in his head. A public letter to "Ask Ida" (hello, Soraya!) may just be the ticket to Jude's and Rae's HEA. This strangers turned friends turned lovers story kept me captivated all day... so much so that I finished it in less than 24 hours.

Deal me another!
Another great Cocky Hero Club book! This series is an awesome way to discover new authors.
I enjoyed this book and quickly fell in love with Jude (and Walter). It was an easy story to follow and a quick read. I look forward to reading more from Kacey Shea.

Dirty Dealer is an opposites attract, temporary roommates, contemporary romance standalone inspired by [a:Vi Keeland|6887119|Vi Keeland|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1535888577p2/6887119.jpg] and [a:Penelope Ward|7105545|Penelope Ward|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1532644416p2/7105545.jpg]’s [b:Cocky Bastard|25772000|Cocky Bastard|Penelope Ward|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1436524506l/25772000._SY75_.jpg|45620597]. It's published as part of the Cocky Hero Club world, a series of original works inspired by Keeland and Ward's novels.
And so to my review… this is the first book I’ve read by [a:Kacey Shea|13919697|Kacey Shea|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1430925552p2/13919697.jpg] and it was a great introduction to her, and her writing. I will definitely be checking out more of her books, especially since I’ve realised she’s written/writing books with characters who got cameos in Dirty Dealer.
Normally in a book, it’s the heroine that I really connect with and root for. Don’t get me wrong, Rachel was a great character. She was strong, sassy and had principles that she wasn’t willing to compromise. She was also happy in her own skin - a lot of the time where you read about a “curvy” girl (which could mean any number of sizes, really) then she’s slightly hung up on that fact. Not so Rachel. She was a confident woman who knew her worth and got hers. She was still vulnerable and I’m always going to love any heroine who ponders whether a new man in her life might be a serial killer. Same, girl. Same.
However, it was Jude that caught my attention and kept it to the end. I love an alpha male - and while Jude definitely had his alpha qualities, he had a fantastically vulnerable side, too. Or maybe you could also call them boyish qualities. His love of lollipops, his almost giddy delight at succeeding at his job and his unashamed emotion in the face of possibly losing Rachel. I can’t imagine it’s easy to write a hero with both the strong qualities we all love, but also having the vulnerabilities that make him believable, likeable and downright wonderful. I loved Jude so. Okay, I might not have loved his name but everything else…
This was somewhat of a slow burn story. There’s lots of build up to our couple finally getting together. It’s not a case of them having to admit feelings - they both know that there’s a connection and chemistry there, as do we as readers. It’s just about timing being right. There are many - many - times where we’re finally about to have the pair kiss, or take things to the next level, when there’s a most inconvenient interruption. I admit to shouting “oh, come on!” at my kindle towards the last of those interruptions. Thankfully, they did come on which made me very happy. And speaking of happy, the scene where Rachel comes across Jude on the couch in the night… well, let’s just say I could have done with that scene being a whole lot longer. Wowza!
As the book is set in the world of [b:Cocky Bastard|25772000|Cocky Bastard|Penelope Ward|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1436524506l/25772000._SY75_.jpg|45620597], Chance and Aubrey from that book do appear in this one, too. I’ve never actually read that book and I didn’t feel that I lost anything from not having done so. I am intrigued to pick up Chase and Aubrey’s own story, though.
This book is written in the first person, present tense, with alternating viewpoints of both Jude and Rachel over 52 chapters. I feel that worked well, and worked well with Ms Shea’s snappy and fast writing style. I was hooked from the first page and was quickly drawn into the story of Rachel and Jude. As I said before, I really loved the characters, the chemistry and the story in general - I even got a few laughs from it. All in all an excellent book in the Cocky Hero Club and an excellent book all round. I look forward to reading more from [a:Kacey Shea|13919697|Kacey Shea|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1430925552p2/13919697.jpg]. 5 stars and a recommendation from me.

I wasn’t sure I would love this one or not but so far, I have really enjoyed all the off shots from by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward’s Cocky Bastard. I think this is the 5th or 6th one from the Cocky Bastard’s world that I have read.
Jude totally comes off as the guy who has it all. From almost the page one you sense he is kind of unsettled. That there is something in his world missing. You quickly realize that Jude wants very true and honest relationship with someone. I was pretty sure he was not going to be likable at all. He is super arrogant.
For Jude he thinks that is Rachel. Rachel does not agree. She is not a fan of Jude. She is really unimpressed with him and his life Rachel has always allowed the men in her past to take care of her. She doesn’t want to be controlled. She is really looking for a partner, a companion.
I am not going to lie it took me some to get started on this book. I put it down like 4 times. Jude’s arrogance was so over the top. But once I made it past the first few chapters I fell in love with Jude. I saw the cracks in his armor. I wanted him to win Rachel. I actually for a while felt like Rachel’s character played to hard to get. She was so back and forth about Jude. I think it was her circumstances and not wanting to make a choice out of desperation.
This was a 4.5/5 read for me. I left off a .5 star just because I struggled a bit to get into it. This is another great offering from the Cocky Hero Club World.
