This author lost me on page 9 when she described models as ‘transvestites with vaginas’ who ‘don’t come from earth’… the protagonist of this book is so unlikeable and just sounded like a typical overwritten ‘Bridget Jones’ style woman who hates herself. I could not keep reading, which is a shame because the premise sounded fun!
