This series is the definition of a must read. As I got into the twilight saga I often found it hard to put the books down. I did enjoy the movies as well, but I am so glad I made the choice to read the books before seeing the movies.

I was completely satisfied from the start until the end. I got so addicted to this series that I read it multiple times already. I could not get over with the ending and I lingered with it every time I would read it again.

I'm not gonna deny that I enjoyed these books. In fact, I truly like and cherish book #1. So much that I actually read it twice, which is so rare for me.
It's a good romance. Good for a bit of light reading.

I really like the supernatural and this hit the spot, plus I liked how the end was really a lot of action.
I really enjoy this series.

No idea what I'd think if I read these for the first time today. But I did read them when they were brand new and I was 17 years old. And I absolutely loved them then! (Dear God, is has it really been 12 years already??)

Nostalgia is a powerful thing.

I’m absolutely leaving this in my favorites. Anything that prompted me to fall in love with reading is special to me :)

Some call it toxic, others call it illogical and stupid… but there’s one thing we must all admit, the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer was everyone’s middle school obsession. It would be great to pay a revisit to the ‘biting’ (pun totally intended!) cold winters of Forks, the town of perpetual gloom and rain, experience the epic battle scene between the Cullen allies and the Volturi (which was the highlight for the Breaking Dawn Part 2 movie but was sadly not included in the books) which I could keep watching over and over again, and my favorite scene from Eclipse - with Bella’s sacrificial slicing her arm open to distract Victoria and Riley to save Edward.

Nonetheless, I have decided to accept the series with its flaws, and I feel we must appreciate the fact that this series somehow had the charm or magical ability to influence the minds of an entire generation of young readers (which now people refer to as their “Twilight phase” of reading) and continues to do so even today.

I wouldn’t mind throwback-reading a few books or watching some of the movies again because it takes me back to when I was in middle school and reminds me of my first ever book club experiences.

If you love your brain, do it a favour. Don't put it through the torment of reading this horrible series.
