I loved the first two but this one didn’t work at all for me.

This book was hilarious. The capers of Hendrik and Evert had me laughing throughout. An innocent walk to a friend's house turns out very complicated when Evert somehow manages to arrive with a baby. The book revolves around how these two men can safely return the baby without getting caught. It's a book filled with humor and the love you start to feel for the characters. It's a fun read.

Absolutely adored this story! The multiple perspectives made me feel like I was following along on a crime tv show. It was such a fast paced, light and easy read. I found myself giggling at certain parts and wanting to read faster to figure out how everything plays out. Truly loved how everything came together at the end!

If you’re in need of a palette cleanser and a quick read this book is definitely it. It’s about an old man who takes a baby on an impulse and is trying to get her back to her parents without being caught. It’s a funny “why would you do that?” story told in various POV’s with each chapter being like 2-3 pages long.

This book is not nearly as good as the prior 2 Hendrick Groen books. Low 3 star book that isn’t as insightful, human or funny as the prior two books.
