"Earth is not just our home, it is also our house." Unstoppable guides the reader through the current research and technology being tested to reduce climate change. It is pretty heavy in science, but the material is presented in a way that the layperson can understand. Climate change is affecting our home, and we need to rise up and create a better future for our home and our house.

I thought this was a really great read with many wonderful ideas about how our society can start changing to combat climate change. There were a number of things I have heard of but there was also a plethora of new ideas that I have never heard of. Some of the most interesting ways to curtail climate change were trying to lighten the color of our roads, buildings, and even crops so that more light from the sun is reflected before it is absorbed by the earth. Also, trying to create bubbles in oceans and lakes to help reflect sunlight. He also goes into detail about how he personally adapts to helping our world with many little ideas for your own home, like solar power and gardening. It's more complicated than that, but it's good stuff.
The hard thing about reading this book right now after the results of the current election is that we now have a government full of climate change deniers who may cause us to regress in our society rather than moving forward or even pausing for four years. But I bet Bill would say that we need to continue to fight to help change the world and not let a minority of uninformed corprotists destroy our home. Gotta love Bill.

Probably deserves a better rating than 3 stars. But felt a bit preaching to the choir to me, since I'm already an engineer working in the energy efficiency industry.

Lots of interesting ideas and solutions. I wish I could assign this as required reading to a few people... Having Bill Nye narrator is own audiobook was a nice touch.
