A bit cliché but overall nice book. It could have probably used an editor, the flow is choppy, and sometimes the story is inconsistent. But the twist on the every night transformation, the lack of cheap romance, part of the plot, made a nice book. I feel this was a very shallow introduction to the characters and I think that next book will be better (hope it doesn't disappoint!).

I really liked this book! I would rate it 3.5 - I felt like a lot of the story was Powell and Chey’s background but it never felt slow or tedious, it was a part of the story.

It wasn’t quite as gripping as I would have liked, but I was constantly left curious and wanting to keep reading to find out more

I enjoyed this. I'd never really read any werewolf fiction, and although D. Wellington lends his own creative license to the folklore it worked very well.

I read scary books in October for Halloween and discovered David Wellington on the internet. It's good stuff! FROSTBITE reads like a graphic novel without the graphics. The action is relentless. The economic prose style gives you impact without hyperbole and the pace is quickened by short chapter lengths, surprises and cliffhangers. It's like reading a movie. It entertains from start to finish and though not particulary scary, it's highly addictive.

An interesting take on the werewolf concept, well-written.

I love Wellington. I have not read a book of his yet that I havent liked. He writes about these monsters and changes the way everyone thinks about them, but he keeps enough of the legend to be able to keep the name of the monster. some books change the rules so much you cant even call it a vampire, or werewolf anymore. I love that this one was written in the perspective of the monster and not of someone hunting the monster. I recommend Wellington to anyone who likes books.. You dont have to only like monster books. He is just amazing at telling stories.
