So, I guess I’ve been reading too many mysteries because I guessed the twist right away. As in, I guessed the twist in the very first chapter. I like Richards's books, so this was a bit of a disappointment. However, the plot was still interesting enough that I finished it.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the reveal and the final climax. There were a few plot holes, and choices were made by all the characters that I didn't understand.

Overall, this is one of my least favorite books by Richards. However, I will always enjoy her writing style, and am eagerly anticipating every book she releases.

Initially I thought this would be a super cheesy suspense book but it continuously got more intense. The ending was absolutely not what I expected.
