I loved it,
 everything about it was fabulous , starting with the plot, the whole universe was so good written, the writing too was amazing, and yes I didn’t expect the plot twist at the end which is why I gave it 4 instead of 3,5.
Nevertheless, I shipped rune and Alex, (yes ik the romance was an ennemies to lovers between a witch and a witch hunter), I felt like Alex was the perfect match for her, he genuinely loved her, stayed by her side, comforted her and she found safety in his arms, while with Gideon it was more the desire of something forbidden, not love.

That’s exactly why the author had to KILL MY PRECIOUS ALEX, BECAUSE SHE KNEW GIDEON DIDNT STAND A CHANCE WITH HIM ALIVE
