I listened to the audio book narrated by Trevor himself. It was wonderful. It's full of laughs, but also contains a nuanced look at racial issues in South Africa and living with domestic abuse. Touching and authentic, its a great read or listen.

This book is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and an individual’s refusal to succumb to circumstances.

Trevor tells the story with unflinching honesty and humour that will have you laughing out loud. The story will also, undoubtedly, have you reflecting on your privilege without feeling like a sermon.

I highly recommend. If you can, listen to the audible edition which is narrated by Trevor Noah. Trevor’s dynamic storytelling will make you feel like you are right there with him, every step of the way.
