We’ve traded part of our humanity for convenience and efficiency; human contact for intermediation. Having also grown up in the Age of Browsing, Guriel has put to words much of what I’ve been feeling as the world has gone digital.

At times poetic and insightful, at times curmudgeonly and conservative, which I think is the point. A good read for anyone who misses the bookstore of their youth.
