I had such a great time reading this book. First I am a sucker for books involving royalty, It's one of my favorite tropes to read. From what I understand this is a series of books however I didn't read it that way. I would recommend reading the first book before this. I say this because even though you can totally read this as a stand-alone with no problems, there were things that I assumed happened in the previous books that might be spoiled. ( I'm still going to read them though because I loved this book). Honestly, this book surpassed any expectations I had, I can't believe I've never heard of this author before. I highly recommend reading this book, it was cute, angsty, and easy read. I had the best time reading it and hope you all give it a read!
