I went into this book only knowing that it was categorized as science fiction.

Very interesting read. I can see how it's not for everyone, but I really enjoyed it.

Really enjoyed the humour throughout the book and the pop culture references.

there are a LOT of characters and the build up is very long but I think the payoff is worth it. I did not see what happened coming.

I loved this book! Very different form anything I’ve read before - a combination of strong characters, literary fiction, philosophical questions, social commentary, and a hint of sci-fi. I loved the style and subtle humour of Le Tellier’s writing. I do agree that the sub-plot surrounding Sophia felt unnecessary and gratuitous and could turn some people away who otherwise would enjoy the book. Not for everyone but I devoured it!
