Such a sad, sad story.
But it is an important one to tell. The author did a great job of organizing the many years of this case and introducing people who were important to getting it solved.
As someone from South Dakota whose family lived in Wyoming, reading the descriptions of the terrain is incredibly accurate. It is terrifying what someone can get away with in the expanse of the nature in these states.

The story was interesting, but I thought it was far too drawn out and going off on tangents. I wish it had been more condensed. It may have been better with written text, but I listened to it on an audiobook.

A bit unnecessarily long in my opinion. It is however full of information, including the lives of all the police who tried to prove the crimes over the years.

I'm not sure I'm a fan of Franscell's writing style (so many cliches, parentheticals, and over-writing, in my opinion), but found this account of Wyoming murderers fascinating. The prologue set the stage perfectly.
