Such a fun little series! My 4 & 7 year olds really enjoyed all 3 of the books and were able to follow it well. They were especially excited to learn the baby dragon’s name!

Not as fun as the first, but better than the second. A good ending to the trilogy.

It was a sweet conclusion to the series. We finally learn the dragon's name (Boris) and get to learn a little about his family. I think it's a suitable final adventure with Elmer and Boris and I can't wait to read this to my students.

This was the conclusion to the My Father's Dragon trilogy; they're short reads, so it was natural to fit them in close together.

In this book, the dragon, on his way to being reunited with family, learns they are about to be captured. He asks Elmer for help, knowing he can't coordinate a rescue on his own. A sweet conclusion to the trilogy.

Well, Jackson liked it a lot again, but a far cry once again from the first one. Having finished all three, I realize I was just fine growing up reading only the first one.
