It tries to garner panic by telling us stats that we should be panicked. It just hasn’t grabbed my attention.

of course, knowing me, i picked this book up because of its title and my intrigue. a book about a virus that only effects men? i should’ve known it was written after covid began…in the end i was sadly underwhelmed and just wanted to finish the book.

Meh...such an interesting concept that is wasted.
Almost all of the protagonists are the same person rich, white, loves their husband and kids. Like boooring. If u r gonna write about how wealth helps people in unusual circumstances this isn't the way. Also there is no way anything mentioned related to viruses and ect. is actually factual i don't need books to be super realistic but having some understanding about the idea ur plot is based on is the bare minimum anyways don't read this if u want to end up in a reading slump xoxo
