Short story/novella that is a prequel to Rogue Lawyer but since I've never read Rogue Lawyer I'm sure I missed some things. It's essentially the story of a guy accused of killing a cop and the trial, we learn about the guy, we learn about the lawyer and follow the trial - sounds boring doesn't it? It's not because Grisham is an exceptional writer.
I'm sure I would have liked it better if I'd have read Rogue Lawyer first but I enjoyed it just fine, a good way to spend an hour.

Prequel dari Rogue Lawyer, berkisah tentang masa lalu Partner (bodyguard Sebastian Rudd dalam Rogue Lawyer) dan bagaimana awal mula mereka bertemu. Easy read & page turner sekaligus, dan karena novela ini hanya 60 halaman (edisi e-book yang saya baca 55 halaman), maka bisa selesai dalam sekali berdiri.

I liked this prequel better than Rogue Lawyer. It would have better served Simon, if it had been included in Rogue Lawyer. It's all about how Simon defended Tee Ray. Recommended for any Grisham fan!
