It is a gripping and addictive thriller that keeps you guessing until the very end. Set in a high school where four students find themselves embroiled in a murder investigation, this book is filled with twists, secrets, and unexpected turns. The characters are well-developed and each has their own motives and secrets, adding to the suspense.

This book is like a rollercoaster ride you can't get enough of! The twists and turns will have you on the edge of your seat, and the characters are so relatable, you'll feel like you're right there with them.

This book is like a binge-worthy Netflix series you can't stop watching! It's got all the ingredients for a juicy murder mystery that will make you gasp and scream at every turn. The characters are like your own classmates, full of secrets and hidden motives that keep you guessing. McManus masterfully juggles multiple perspectives, giving you a front-row seat to the drama and suspense.

You won't be able to resist the temptation to play detective as you try to piece together the puzzle. The plot twists are like sucker punches, knocking you off balance when you least expect it. And just when you think you've figured it all out, BAM! Another bombshell drops, leaving you speechless.

If you're a fan of YA thrillers and love diving into a thrilling mystery that'll keep you up all night, "One of Us Is Lying" is an absolute must-read. It's addictive, gripping, and downright unputdownable. Grab a copy, cancel your plans, and get ready for a wild ride!

I am writing this review after also watching the tv series based on this book. (They did a great job adapting by the way). While I enjoyed reading and watching, I don’t really understand the “hype.” Or maybe it’s because it was so hyped up that I felt disappointed. Or maybe it’s because I’ve been reading a lot of thrillers from the adult section lately. Regardless, it was well written, had a good pace and I didn’t guess the ending. It was also kind of a interesting and different to read a book and not connect with or like any of the characters but it not take away from the enjoyability of reading.
