I declare
That later on,
Even in an age unlike our own,
Someone will remember who we are.
How very right she was! This book is an incredible visual journey, but I don't think it'd be too enjoyable for people who aren't really into Greek myths.

HOW TF DOES ONE WRITE LIKE THIS.

like such simple language yet it keeps its potency, its emphasis, its meaning.

I also loved and adored most of the themes in here. Like, a mad woman who’s a lesbian and thinks watching girls dance around half-naked is better than watching horsemen go off for war? Literally MUST STAN (Though I’m pretty sure she’s done so pretty horrible things…idk but it’s just the vibe I get from her poetry).

Moon and the Pleiades go down.
Midnight and tryst pass by.
I, though, lie
Alone.

Peace, you never seemed so tedious
As now – no, never quite like this.

Over eyelids dark night fell
Invisible.
