I very much enjoyed reading this book. This is a story I am recommending to my friends. I was entertained and trilled to keep reading this story.

I haven’t read a bully romance in a while and thought this would be a good series to start. While it wasn’t a terrible book, it wasn’t that great either.

It reads like any bully romance honestly. However, what was exhausting was Jake’s reasoning behind hating Amelie. Seriously, the author couldn’t have come up with anything else? It was immature and tiring. The amount of things he did and said to the heroine really was too much. He also really didn’t have any good qualities about him. None.

I liked Amalie for the most part. Even if she caved most of the time, she stood her ground and tried to stand up to him. Do I wish she would have just told him to f*** off and go on with her life? Yes, but then we wouldn’t really have a book would we?

The romance was okay. They had some cute moments, but it doesn’t erase the fact she was too good for him and should have let him go along his angry way.

What else made me drag the rating down was the fact that we never found out
Spoilerwho drugged Amalie’s drink at the party.
I felt like that was a crucial scene that got overlooked. Having that question unanswered really bugs me.

All in all, this was alright. Nothing memorable or anything that I’m going to come back to. I am intrigued enough to continue reading the series since I already have a few of them on my Kindle. Fingers crossed that Mason and Camila’s story is better.

talk about a toxic relationship but I also couldn’t put it down.

I was completely entertained! Couldn’t stop reading once I started. I know some parts of this book are problematic, but as fiction, it really kept my interest.

Jake Thorn is a real piece of work. Bully romances always drive me crazy at the beginning because the bully is just that - a bully, but I stick with them because the ending is always worth all the angst!

I will definitely be reading Mason and Camila’s story!
fast-paced

My oh my, I need a cold shower after this one!

I have a huge love spot for bully romance and this one just fit the mold and put me all in my feels!

Jake Thorn is such an asshole.

Amalie is such a badass.

I love when the chicks can actually stand up for themselves When the characters actually have legitimate reasoning to do the things they do or say the things they say.

This book is full of secrets, twists, turns, and OMG moments!

This is the story of Amalie and Jake, it's a bully romance from enemies to lovers. Where Amalie is a girl who, due to circumstances, had to move from London to live with her grandmother in the United States. Jake is the quarterback of Rosewood High, with a somewhat shady past and living in circumstances that he keeps secret. The story captures your attention from the first chapter, the characters are fantastic and I'm sure you'll love them. The interactions between Amalie and Jake will entertain you, and the story itself will captivate you. The boys from Rosewood High will definitely get into your heart. What are you waiting for to know this story?

Ugh. This book and I didn’t vibe. The characters were all so freaking flat and their actions and interactions were so stupid. I just… I didn’t enjoy this. Jake was an absolute tit, and even with the explanation after all the ridiculously vague hints (and then there was absolutely nothing shocking about the reveal whatsoever), it didn’t redeem him in my eyes at all. Not to mention I thought Camila was a dreadful friend and the smut was super bland.

Anyway. No thanks.
