The bad boy meets good girl trope done right!
I am reeling after just finishing this book. The bully romance is a genre that can very easily get messed up. There is a fine line between the author making a completely undesirable villain in the “bully” and what Tracy Lorraine has done here with Jacob Thorn. He ticks all the boxes!

When english rose Amalie shows up in town, fresh from the trauma of losing both of her celebrity parents, she is a thorn in the side of Jake. He sees her as everything he hates! Privileged, fake and vapid. He makes it his goal in life to make her days in his town a living hell. But, though he makes good on that promise, the more he looks into her eyes, the less he sees the hate and resemblance to the person he despises most, but instead, the longing for the girl he is slowly realizing her to be: strong and beautiful... and far too good for the likes of him.
Amalie is quickly outcasted by most of the school due to Jake‘a authority. Armed with only one real friend, it makes things a little easier. But what boggles Amalie’s mind is why she finds herself so undeniably drawn to the boy who torments her. Is it because she can see past the hate in his stare to the pain that lurks within him?
It’s been a while since I got those angsty flutters in my stomach from reading a great romance. This was a phenomenal read and my first from this author. I can happily say it will not be the last!!! I am in the edge of my seat here as I (not so patiently) wait for Mason‘a story next.

This was a good book, It didn't have twist and turn, the turmoil was all on the characters, Its where the hate, the bullying, the lust, and love all come from. Character conflict. It was great to see, and it was also kind of a weird reason for the bullying, but I get it man. Overall I liked the characters and the story, I gather it's going to be a series and I sure hope so because I need me some answers with Mason.LOL

First in the series from the Rosewood High books! I absolutely love Amalie and Jake, Amalie is a strong British girl who goes head to head with the king of the Rosewood High school! It's a enemies to lovers, bully romance! The world building is absolutely fantastic and I can't wait to read about the next couple!

This was a meh for me. I was so confused with the main issue that Jake had with Amelia.
Like once you figure out and are told who he has a problem with, and how Amelia factors into that. It then doesn’t make sense why he would think Amelia is her or represents her.
Which means the whole crux of their issue doesn’t make sense for the story. It’s almost like this was just put in to make a conflict but then once you figure out who the person is the conflict then becomes obsolete. Because how could you hate her when you know the conflict isn’t with her. I will try to wrap my mind around that.
Other than that it was just really OK. I still found it weird that she supposed to be a senior, but at this new school because of some weird reason that the principal made up I’m guessing she’s a junior. That actually didn’t make sense at all, but I just went with the story.

I don’t even have anything eloquent to write. It’s just not good, like, at all.
