This book was so dull & a slog to get through. The only redeeming character in the entire book is Theo. Lily is so unbelievably whiney in this book. The plot is a giant nothingburger. This entire book could have been summed up into one epilogue chapter tacked on to the end of 'It Ends With Us'. Glad I read it on audiobook at 1.75x speed because if I had to read this at a normal pace I would have been so annoyed at the time wasted on it.

I don't really feel like this book was needed to be honest. It was great to see Lily and Atlas get their happily ever after, but overall the story didn't add value imo.

I also think Lily moved on from the trauma too easily. She was able to see Ryle gaslighting and manipulating her, which I thought wasn't too realistic. I've been fortunate enough to not have gone through anything like what she went through, as both a child and a woman. But I know a few people in similar situations, or have gone through trauma, and they haven't gotten over it quite so quickly. And have needed a lot of help to recover.

I just remember the first book hitting me in the feels, and it felt so real. This book was a let down for me. Feeling a bit disappointed...

I needed this so much more than I thought I did. Not better then It Ends With Us but it was amazing and I can't wait to continue my COHO during. Read this in one day! So I know it was good because I get bored fast but this... I was smiling and laughing along and I couldn't stop reading. I had to take mini breakes to make sure I wasn't reading to fast to get bored of it.
