This book is geared towards young adults, but I LOVED it. Makes me miss my teenages years where my biggest worry was what to do in summer break and how I knew everything. I love the inclusion of recipes from the story in every chapter. It was as an easy and enjoyable read that makes me reconsider where "made with love" actually originated.

This book was outstanding! I can’t tell you how much of a sucker I am for books with food plot lines, and this one set my standards so high! With the immediate luring of your curiosity - mixed with recipes that I will 100% be trying when I actually run to the store! I couldn’t have asked for anything better! The way that Cat is relatable, fun, family oriented - she might be one of my favorite characters of all time! I loved watching Cat and her mother’s relationship - including the interactions with her extended family. Then on top of all of that, add a little magic and confusion! I couldn’t ask for anything more, this is a five star book - and definitely a must read!

Bake Believe is a pretty cool book which reminded me of this Netflix show “Just Add Magic”. This is a book on similar lines where the main character gets a family gift she never imagined. The gift is that whatever emotion she feels as she bakes is infused in her creation. This adds more fire to her already raging teenage problems and leads to comic consequences.
I loved this book, it has a dash of magic, humor and innocent school day romance. To top it all, the detailed recipes are a huge bonus. My son is into baking and the recipes in the book are quite elaborate for him to try out.
I absolutely adored this book!

Cat is excited. Last day of summer, she and her cousing Robyn are going to make it EPIC!! They are starting 8th grade, last year of middle school, what can go wrong? Her mom never cooks/bakes. Microwave, frozen meals, waffles from the freezer and toasted. It's all good to Cat..... till it's not. This starts Cat down a road that she learns some life lessons and how powerful her feelings can be.

This is a great book, I loved it. I suggest you read it as soon as you can. Each chapter even has a recipe at the end for you to save and try. They are easy and look like they will taste like heaven!

Young Adult, Adult.... It's great for all! I love I will be keeping my eye out for more books by this author!!!

Thanks to Storyorigin and publishers for this eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Bake Believe by Cori Cooper was a cute book to read.
The story is sweet and has drama to keep things interesting.
The characters are really creative, quirky and endearing. It features
teenage angst, magic, recipes, romance, and more.
Cat Anderson is the typical teenager, but after a scheduling clash puts her in a cooking class, her life turns upside down.
This is a typically wonderful YA read which I would put at the younger end of the YA scale, saying that I did enjoy it and I especially loved the recipes at the end of the chapters.

This book has a little bit of magic and a whole lot of baking in it! It’s the perfect cross between a cookbook and a (mostly) relatable story. It captures your attention and gives you the recipe for everything they talk about!

This story follows Cat and her joy of baking explode - along with her love life. From making frozen meals to baking, Cat discovers not only who she is, but more about her family history as well. This is a great read and a great way to get yummy recipes!

Bake Believe is a story of a young girl who is a little boy crazy and determined to enjoy every second of life. Through a happy accident she comes to find that she has a special ability when she bakes. Not special like her food tastes good, special like magical!
This is a fantastic story for ages from middle school to adult. Not only is the story cute and funny, but the artist has the gift of making you feel like you are part of the story, experiencing it right along with the character.
This book should carry a warning though! Each chapter is followed by a delicious recipe that you will want to try.
I would recommend this book to anyone ages 10 and up! Looking forward to reading the rest if the series.

A pre-teen, young teen reader with a bit of magic, a spunky teen main character and a whole lot of fun!!! I really enjoyed the author’s writing style and wished I had younger kids at home to share these stories with. The recipes are super fun too! Such a great way to get your kids interested in learning to bake. I will be looking forward to book two in this series.

Bake Believe by Cori Cooper

This isn't the first book I've read by the author. Bake Believe is a cute little book. If you like food with a little magic then this book is for you.

Cat is so used to eating frozen food and it doesn't bother her. Thats until she goes to the pool with her cousin and sees a high school kid with a pretzel. Now she can't stand the thought of eating frozen foods. The quote I chose for Cat is: “Yeah, I know. But not really. It’s like an extra one, right? Cause it’s the last day of summer. I’ll be here for the real Friday fun night. Can I, please? Just for a little bit? I want to talk to Robyn about something.”

Robyn is Cat's cousin and best friend. She is excited that her cousin decides that she wants real food. She can't wait to see what their future holds. The quote I chose for Robyn is: “Well, I’m glad Tia Bridget doesn’t cook. If that means you will come hang out with us more. I love it when you’re here.”

Highly recommended for Kids & Family lovers.
