This was a nice continuation of this world. I didn’t enjoy Sorinda’s voice as much as Alosa but it was still a satisfying pirate read. I’m hoping to see more books set in this world soon.
This was an entertaining addition to this series! The stakes were high, the adventure had me hooked and the romance was romancing & swooning! Really enjoyed this!

I really loved this idea. I mean, what’s better than a book about a pirate? A book about a pirate assassin!
I just felt like the characterisation could be better. Sorinda’s badass-ery was pretty heavy-handed and her reasoning for not wanting to grow close to others felt a bit overly dramatic. Kearan seemed like a pretty standup guy, but he barely had any personality except for being head over heels for his captain, so it was hard to tell.
I get what the author was trying to do and I really enjoyed seeing the continuation of these characters’ stories. I just wish it had hooked me in more.
