4 stars...I was finally able to finish this book series and I highly enjoyed it. I love a good pirate story and this one was chalk full of the pirates of the carribean vibes. I loved all the characters and the plot was great. We have swashbuckling, ship vs beasties, ships vs other ships, cannon fire, a mysterious man in an ice tomb(you have to read it to find out more) lots of killing, saving people, and even some romance thrown in. I was waiting for that one! Yes you should read this especially if you enjoyed the first 2 books. Love Sorinda!
Definitely the best book in the Daughter of the Pirate King series, the author’s progress is clear. I loved the characters and the fact that they had flaws and arcs. Seeing Sorinda’s and Kearan’s development was interesting and the romance between them didn’t seem rushed as in the original duology. Compared to them Alosa and Raiden fall quite flat.

I did enjoyed this book but I didn't love and the cover of book was stunning. The paced of plot was fine and the writing was okay. The atmosphere was well written and the world building was great. The ending of book was okay and the characters okay but I would have them to flash out bit.

Okay so first off, the narrator for this audio was ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!!! They could not have picked a better fit for Sorinda. This book started out with an EPIC opening scene like OH. MY. GOD. Sorinda is a ruthless assassin! It was new to watch her gain a bit of humanity and a softer side throughout this book.
VENGEANCE OF THE PIRATE QUEEN is everything I remember loving about DAUGHTER OF THE PIRATE QUEEN. It's full of murder, tension, magic, high seas adventure, monsters, pirates and characters with so much depth. I listened to the audiobook and honestly had trouble turning it off. I didn't want to stop. I finished it in just a few days.

Sorinda was one of my favorite character in this series, and I was so excited to see more of her and Riden. Another fun and easy read. Love the characters and excited for more adventures with them.
