"She's basically Batman" -Mrs. Tricia Levenseller
I LOVED THIS BOOK. Even though it was different from the first two in the trilogy, I still loved it so so so much.
Things I loved most:
1. The banter between Sorinda and Kearan 💕
2. The plot twist at the end.....it had me fooled
3. The way that the story connects to the first two in the trilogy in the most natural way even though it's a different POV.
4. Did I tell you how much I love little Roslyn????????? 🥺🫶
5. The villain of the story was written so well that I was actually very invested in what he had to say to justify all that he did. Who doesn't love a good villain? 😂
Anyways if you haven't read this trilogy go read it. I mean that, it's completely worth it and I have never loved a fantasy series more.

I absolutely loved the first two books in this series, so I was really excited to read the third installment. Vengeance of the Pirate Queen did not let down. There is something about the way these books are making that make me forget I am reading.
The pirate queen, Alosa, sends one of her best assassins, Solinda, on an important mission that has nothing to do with an assassination. Solinda is tasked with a rescue mission to save crew members Alosa had infiltrate one of the land king’s ships and who have failed to check in. Going with Solinda is Kearan, who has shown Solinda more affection than she would like. The journey does not go as planned and from sea monsters to an island filled with a variety of threats, including the King of the Undersea who can control the dead, the trip turns into a wild adventure.
I absolutely loved that we got a new perspective in this book. I loved reading Alosa’s story in the first two books, but it was really nice to see Solinda’s story in this one. She is in the first two books, but in those I found her to be a bit mysterious and I was curious about her. She is both damaged and strong in a complex, but intriguing way.
I loved every moment of this book, and it was an easy 4 stars for me. I am very hopeful that there will be more books in this wonderful series.
Thank you so much to NetGalley, Macmillan Audio, and Tricia Levenseller for a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest and voluntary review.
