So MUCH character introspection that didn't add anything to the story for me. Some of the relationships between the characters are interesting, but that wasn't enough to get me through this installment of the series.

This series was a rollercoaster that I'm both sad and happy has ended. I went in to the series fairly blind and I'm so glad I did. Thank you Olivie for this masterpiece and making me question everything and nothing all at once.

The fact that several people just got killed off kinda threw me???

I wanted to like this book, and the note from Olivie at the end did help me to understand it better, and I did like the themes running throughout, but the rest of it was a bit of a mess, and there's a good 100 or so pages that could definitely have been cut without losing anything.
