This was a lovely cozy read. It would be perfect for fall. I would have liked it just a bit more if the beginning wasn’t as slow and if there was more showing instead of telling.

What a delightful follow up to the Spellshop! I was immediately sucked in and captivated by the premise. It was a delightful continuation on the world established in Spellshop with some very lovely character building. The weakest aspect to me was the romance, but I was willing to overlook it because the rest of the writing and work was so strong. If you're looking for excellent cozy fantasy with good low-ish stakes, then consider giving this one a read!
