Took me almost a month to get through. Unsure if it was the story, or my own mood… but it was very cute.

The theme (per the Acknowledgements at the back of the book) was hope and love and second chances. And this book sure did deliver on all of that. The coziest of cozy fantasy that I've read. Is this low stakes? Sure. But who doesn't need a warm hug of a book every once in awhile? I will say, maybe save this one for December or January. It's very wintery!
