Devoured the audiobook right after The Spellshop. It gives off similar vibes, albeit a tad more melancholic for the first half of the book. I found that I enjoyed the story and characters a bit more in The Spellshop but the characters in this one were good too. I think I liked The Spellshop a little more as well as I enjoyed the entrepreneurial aspect of opening a shop in a small town. I also do not have a green thumb so maybe that contributed to my overall enjoyment of this. It was really interesting to see another area of the same world as the first book. I hope characters from both books get to meet in future installments. 🥰

This story is absolute soul balm. My whole spirit needed a hug and this book was it. Terlu and Yarrow have the sweetest romance. The magical greenhouses were such a delight. The sentient, talking plants were so fun. I loved the nods to The Spellshop. The found family vibes were strong in this one. I love me a man who can cook. The idea of creating boundaries with loved ones who hurt you is explored exquisitely. Loved this one so much.

I loved Spellshop, so this has been on my preorder list since it was announced. I love this kind of series where we have some world-building established, but we open into a new set of characters. Terlu is the creator of Caz from book one, but as we open Enchanted Greenhouse, she is waking up in a new place from being turned into a statue. After some searching, she finds Yarrow the gardener. They are the only people left on the island, and the magic is failing. The search through this magic world for answers and connection is fantastic.

per disappointed in this one as it was one of my most anticipated reads of the year and I pre-ordered it. It was cozy but honestly took the cozy troupes too far. I found it to be just boring and hallmark movie. The story features two characters that are pretty uninteresting and predictable. I wanted to love the plant characters but they just didn’t connect.
