This was solid, and a good listen narrated by John Lee. The author is a little moralistic, clearly extremely pro-British and pro-west, and a bit basic in his writing, though the latter works well for the audiobook format. Overall an interesting story that gives a readable insight into cold war espionage, albeit from a biased source.

4.25 rounded to 4. Oleg's story is 10 out of 5 stars.

I continue to really enjoy Macintyre's storytelling (read Agent Sonya a couple years ago). This story about a KBG agent who defected to spy for Britain during the cold war had my mouth agape one moment and laughing out loud the next. Sometimes real life is the best story there is.

Absolutely amazing. My second spy novel but this is the novel that now has my hooked. I can only hope to find another in the genre that will level up this books level
