Excellent book, much better than I expected from reading the blurb. Each chapter keeps you hooked! There are constant twists and turns, I think the author left one part of the plot purposely easy to work out but the rest was completely unpredictable. Upon reflection, the ending was subtly eluded to in such a clever and unsuspected way! My only quarm, leaving this book at 4 stars, is that I found a lot of the descriptions repetitive, IE (not a direct quote) "I drank it in, I stood drinking in the view" etc. Still an excellent book!

Well, this book sucked.
Okay I’m going to try not to be 100% negative. But no, I didn’t enjoy this book.
This book was an average, three star, lacklustre thriller until I got to the end and it’s star rating took a nose dive out of the sky. Get it? Because they were in a plane crash? Ok…

So the book takes place from two perspectives, Lori and her sister Erin’s. As our story goes on I began to like Lori, she was resilient as all hell. But I never got attached to Erin, her character just wasn’t very interesting to me. So I spent her side of the book feeling quite detached.
The pacing was a bit all over the place, if it were me I probably would have cut it down by 100 pages and made the pacing a bit more dicey!
As I said I hated the ending, but not everyone will!
Basically I thought this book sucked but I don’t wanna make out that this is the worst book I’ve ever read or anything. It’s not even the worst I’ve read all year!

I feel the blurb for this one lets it down. I'd hesitated on requesting it, as I just wasn't sold on the storyline that was being hinted at in the description. Thankfully I went back and took the risk.

This is quite a clever, twisty and dark thriller that looks at the psyche of people in a crisis and the badness that can linger under the surface in people.

With several moments where everything is not all as it seems, this one kept me guessing until the very end. There were even a few jaw dropping moments at the end!

I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed the two separate narrators for the two lead characters and there was no silly accents to be heard!
