I loved everything about this book. The only downside is that I have to wait for the next one in the series. It’s smart, sweet, funny, charming and whole bunch of other adjectives that I could either spend time writing out or I could just simply say, read this today.
So... read this today!
Highly recommend.

It's quite a simple story and feels more like a cozy mystery than a spy novel as the setting is rural England and it is about the murder of a servant who loves to snoop around. The story is too straight forward for my taste, especially when I am looking forward to a Ian Fleming type of story but getting a Hercule Poirot instead. Still, the romance between Leo and Page is quite sweet and the rest of the cast quite interesting. For those who like village cozies with a hint of romance, this maybe the book for you.

It took me until around the 50% mark to get invested, but then I finished the rest of the book in one sitting. James and Leo are cute, and I'm glad there is another story where I can follow them. I'm hoping I can become more attached to them as characters through another story.
