Wow!!! Every book in this series was so cool!! I am kind of addicted, but the series goes on for about 20 volumes so I have plenty yet to read. When I checked out the first few, the next day I went to the library and got the next three in the series. The characters grow on you, and the story is humorous and suspenseful. It is a manga series, and is read from right to left which took some getting used to.

This one was a darker read than many of the others. We explore the history of the Elrich brothers and what exactly happened all those years ago when they tried to bring back their mother. It’s a bit painful. On top of that, we see how they learned the alchemy they know and who their teacher was and a little bit of her history as well. Good read!
